The 31st meeting of the State Single Window Clearance & Monitoring Authority (SSWC&MA) was held here today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu which approved 28 project proposals for setting up of new industrial enterprises and undertaking substantial expansion of existing units with proposed investment of approximately Rs. 1734.65 crore and employment potential of about 5388 persons, which goes to show that the State continues to attract the investment as a most favored destination.

The Chief Minister directed that each proposal should contain detail of skill wise employment detail and efforts be made to attract labour intensive and green industries IT, ITeS & Tourism Industries in the state. He further directed that existing rates of transfer of lease in Industrial Areas may be reviewed. Conversion policy for industrial plots in inner areas may be framed.
