Final match to be played between Governor-XI and CJ-XI team

In the second match of the Sadbhavana Cricket Cup played at BCS School playground Shimla today, Chief Justice-XI defeated Chief Minister-XI by 8 wickets. Chasing a target of 111 runs set by CM-XI, CJ-XI achieved victory in the 13th over, losing just two wickets. For CJ-XI, Vikas Bhardwaj was the best performer, scoring an unbeaten 52 runs, while Justice Virender contributed 34 runs, and Justice B.C. Negi added 12 runs to the scoreboard. On the bowling front for CM-XI, MLAs Hansraj and Vinod Kumar claimed one wicket each.
Earlier, CM-XI won the toss and elected to bat first, posting a total of 110 runs in 15 overs. Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu led from the front with a captain’s knock of 27 runs, the highest individual score for his team. MLA Sudarshan Bablu also made a valuable contribution, scoring 26 runs. For CJ-XI, Justice Sandeep Sharma and Vikas Bhardwaj stood out with the ball, each claiming two wickets.
The final match will be played on Sunday between the Governor-XI and CJ-XI teams.
