Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has expressed grief over the demise of Gurmit Singh Purewal, (96) a leading industrialist who passed away on Wednesday.
Gurmit Singh Purewal played a vital role in bringing industry to Himachal Pradesh in the sixties with Purewal watches, said the Chief Minister, adding that Sh. Purewal created employment opportunities for thousands in his industrial units.
Sukhu prayed to the Almighty to grant peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family members to bear the irreparable loss.
