Recognizing the growing significance of cutting-edge technologies like the Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the modern era, the Himachal Pradesh Government has opened new avenues of opportunities for the youth by integrating these advanced fields with the Diploma in Computer Science Engineering.
Under the directions of Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, the Department of Technical Education has introduced a joint course, Diploma in Computer Science Engineering and IoT in select government polytechnic colleges across the state.
A government spokesperson stated here today that Government Polytechnic College, Hamirpur (Baduhi), which was one of oldest and most prestigious technical institutions in Himachal Pradesh, has commenced this diploma programme. After starting the course in Government Polytechnic College Rohru, this joint diploma course has been started in Hamirpur from the previous academic session with an intake of 51 seats.
