Hisar Police raided two hotels on New Model Town Road and detained 22 women and 19 men who were allegedly found in objectionable circumstances. Police also arrested the managers of both hotels and registered a case at Urban Estate Police Station.
According to sources, some of the women had allegedly been brought from Delhi and Gurugram for prostitution and were staying at the hotels. The action was initiated following complaints regarding suspected immoral activities at the establishments.
The raids were conducted around midnight on Monday under the supervision of SP Priya. Acting on specific intelligence inputs, police first deployed decoy customers inside the hotels. After receiving a pre-arranged signal, police teams simultaneously raided Hotel 999 and Hotel Raj. A dog squad was also part of the operation.
At Hotel 999, police apprehended manager Kuldeep, a resident of Kauth Kalan village in Hansi. During the raid, a woman was found with a decoy customer in Room No. 205. A search of her makeup kit reportedly led to the recovery of objectionable material, which was seized as evidence.
Police later raided Hotel Raj, where manager Ankush, a resident of Kaithal, was taken into custody. A woman was allegedly found with a decoy customer in Room No. 112 during the operation.
Investigators said that a total of ₹1,000 in cash and other objectionable items were recovered from the two hotels and sealed separately as evidence. During the raids, police found nine women and eight men at Hotel Raj, while 13 women and 11 men were located at Hotel 999 under suspicious circumstances.
