In a massive set back for Congress in Jalandhar Lok Sabha bypoll AAP's Sushil Kumar Rinku wins by a landslide victory.
AAP Candidate Sushil Kumar Rinku recorded a giganti victory over Congress candidate with a margin of 58,691 votes. This came as a surprise for Congress as they were expecting an easy victory from Jalandhar. The set back can be attributed to lack of national leader presence during campaign.
Sushil Rinku had the advantage of being the candidate from Aam admi party along with both state Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal comming to campaign in his support. Rinku received a total of 3,02,279 votes today.
