Late bogeys fail to dent lead; Ridhima Dilawari holds steady in second place

In an impressive display at the sixth leg of the Hero Women’s Pro Golf Tour, Jasmine Shekar surged ahead to build a solid three-shot lead going into the final round at the Jaypee Wishtown Golf Course. Despite dropping two late bogeys, Jasmine maintained her composure and finished the second round with a fine 3-under 68.

After opening with an even-par 71 in the first round, Jasmine stepped up her game in the second round, carding six birdies against three bogeys to reach a total of 3-under 139. Having already won the opening leg of the 2026 season, she now looks firmly on course for another title.

Meanwhile, Ridhima Dilawari, the only multiple winner this season, delivered another consistent performance. She recorded one birdie and one bogey on the front nine and then played the last 10 holes, including the entire back nine, at par to stay in second place.

Experienced campaigners Neha Tripathi (73-70) and Amandeep Drall (72-72) are placed third and fourth, respectively. Neha stands at 1-over 143, while Amandeep is close behind at 2-over 144.

A large group of seven players is tied for fifth place at 3-over 145. This group includes Anvitha Narender, Saanvi Somu, Shweta Mansingh, and first-round leader Khushi Khanijau. Khushi, who had impressed with a 68 in the opening round, slipped with a 77 in round two. Shweta also dropped down the leaderboard after returning a 76.

Three amateurs — Anuradha Chaudhuri, Aradhana Manikandan, and Alysha Dutt — are also part of the tied-fifth group.

The cut was set at 153, with 34 out of 53 players advancing to the final round. Notably, Tvesa Malik and Vidhatri Urs are well behind, while prominent names like Seher Atwal and Jahanvi Bakshi failed to make the cut.

All eyes are now on the final round, where Jasmine Shekar stands on the brink of another title-winning performance.
