Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan has been honoured with the National Award for Best Actor for his performance in Chandu Champion. Following the award ceremony, the actor visited Mumbai’s famed Lalbaugcha Raja to seek blessings and placed the prestigious trophy at the feet of Lord Ganesha as a mark of gratitude.
Sharing his emotions after receiving the honour, Kartik reflected on his remarkable journey from a small-town boy in Gwalior to one of Bollywood’s leading stars. Posting pictures from the National Awards ceremony on social media, the actor expressed disbelief and excitement over achieving a dream he had cherished since childhood.
“I am remembering with a smile that mama’s boy from Gwalior who dared to dream of becoming an actor in an environment where people often laughed at such aspirations and moved on. Finally, the moment I had dreamed of was right before my eyes. I lived it and felt it. Even today, because of the excitement and nervousness, it feels unreal,” Kartik wrote.
