Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal, and former Delhi Chief Minister Atishi visited Ambala Central Jail on Tuesday to meet AAP leader Deepak Singla, who has been arrested in an alleged bank fraud case.
According to party sources, the three senior leaders met Singla inside the jail to inquire about his health and legal condition. During the meeting, the party leadership also expressed support for him and discussed the ongoing case.
Deepak Singla was arrested in connection with an alleged bank fraud and is currently lodged in Ambala Central Jail under judicial custody. No official statement was released by the Aam Aadmi Party after the meeting.
