Punjab Newsline, Chandigarh-
The Haryana government has released the second installment of the Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi Scheme, aimed at providing financial support to women in the state. On Monday, CM Saini announced that an amount of ₹2,100 has been successfully transferred to the bank accounts of 7,01,965 women.
CM Saini stated that instead of monthly payments, the scheme amount will now be released once every three months. This change will provide women with a combined installment, making it easier for them to use the money according to their needs.
The Lado Lakshmi mobile app was launched on the 109th birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay. Through this app, women can apply online without visiting any office.
By November 30, a total of 9,05,52 women had applied, out of which 7,01,965 women were found eligible after verification.
Among these, 5,58,346 women have completed their Aadhaar-based KYC verification, while 1,43,619 women are still awaiting verification. Once the pending verification is completed, the remaining women will also receive their installment.
During the event, CM Saini highlighted that the entire process—application to verification—is transparent and fast.
Once a woman submits her application, all necessary verification checks are completed within 24 to 48 hours.
Eligible beneficiaries receive an SMS notification and are then required to upload a live photograph through the app for identity confirmation.
After the Aadhaar-based E-KYC is completed, the Department of Social Justice generates a Pension ID for each beneficiary, enabling direct bank transfer of the scheme amount.
While releasing the second installment, CM Saini congratulated all eligible women. He said that the government is implementing the scheme with speed and transparency. With the revised system, women will receive the combined amount for three months at once, helping them manage their financial needs more efficiently.
The Lado Lakshmi Scheme aims to enhance the financial independence of women in Haryana. The government also stated that the scope of the scheme will be expanded further so that more women can benefit from it in the future.
