Punjab Newsline,Chandigarh :

Grand Event to be Held in Mohali from March 13–15 Under the Theme ‘Punjab Means Business – Policy to Practice’

The official logo of the Progressive Punjab Investors Summit (PPIS) 2026 was unveiled by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann during a high-level meeting held in Chandigarh. With just 28 days remaining for the summit, the Punjab government has intensified preparations to ensure a successful event. The meeting was attended by Industry and Commerce Minister Sanjeev Arora, the Chief Secretary, senior government officials, and representatives of Invest Punjab. All key departments associated with the summit reviewed their preparedness.

The three-day summit will be held from March 13 to 15, 2026, at Plaksha University, IT City, Mohali. This year’s theme, “Punjab Means Business – Policy to Practice,” reflects the state government’s firm commitment to translating policy announcements into effective on-ground implementation and ensuring investor-focused governance. The government aims to move beyond declarations and concentrate on measurable outcomes and structural reforms.

The newly launched logo symbolizes Punjab’s industrial strength, technological advancement, sustainable development, and economic momentum. Its design highlights industrial expansion, digital governance reforms, comprehensive growth, and resilience—presenting Punjab as a progressive, reform-driven, and investment-friendly destination.

Industry and Commerce Minister Sanjeev Arora informed that the national and international roadshows conducted ahead of the summit received encouraging support from industrialists and global partners. Participation in major Indian cities and international investment hubs has further strengthened investor confidence in Punjab’s improved governance framework, robust infrastructure, and emerging sectoral opportunities. Venue arrangements and key logistical preparations have also been thoroughly reviewed to ensure smooth execution of the summit.

On the occasion, Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann stated that the summit will serve as a platform for partnership, co-creation, and effective implementation. He noted that Punjab has already received investment proposals worth approximately ₹1.5 lakh crore and generated employment opportunities for over five lakh people. This, he said, is clear evidence of the credibility of the state’s policies and its strong implementation capacity.

With the unveiling of the logo, enthusiasm and expectations surrounding PPIS 2026 have significantly increased, signaling Punjab’s readiness to welcome both domestic and global investors.
