In a shocking incident under the jurisdiction of the Mandi Sadar police station, a 14-year-old boy has been accused of raping his 15-year-old sister.
The matter came to light after the victim was confirmed to be pregnant. Police have registered a First Information Report (FIR) against the juvenile offender under the relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
According to the complaint lodged with the police, the victim’s mother stated that her 15-year-old daughter had missed her menstrual cycle for the past 2-3 months. On May 30, when her health deteriorated, the family took her to the Lal Bahadur Shastri Government Medical College and Hospital in Nerchowk for a medical examination. Following a thorough check-up, doctors confirmed that the girl was pregnant.
Upon being questioned by her family, the victim revealed that her 14-year-old younger brother had repeatedly raped her against her will over the past 3 to 4 months.

The police are processing the case keeping in mind the juvenile status of the accused, while the victim is receiving necessary medical care.
