In a significant political development in Punjab, Dakha MLA Manpreet Singh Ayali on Tuesday formally joined Akali Dal Waris Punjab De during a party event held in Chandigarh. Before his induction, Ayali visited Gurdwara Thara Sahib Patshahi Chhevin, where he offered Ardas before departing for the state capital.

Speaking after joining the party, Ayali outlined his key political agenda, emphasizing the need to unite all Panthic parties and organisations on a common platform. He said that bringing together forces committed to Punjab and Sikh ideology is essential to effectively raise issues concerning Punjab and its cultural identity.

Ayali stated that he has long advocated Panthic unity and will continue working towards that objective. He expressed hope that different Panthic groups would set aside their differences and collaborate for the larger interests of Punjab and its people.

During the prayer ceremony at Gurdwara Thara Sahib, supporters and several prominent personalities from the region extended their best wishes to Ayali for his new political journey.

His entry into Akali Dal Waris Punjab De is being viewed as a significant development in Punjab politics and could influence the evolving Panthic political landscape in the state.
