Chandigarh, August 23 

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) was strengthened in Nawanshahr when a number of leaders and prominent personalities, under the leadership of AAP Punjab general secretary and Gurdaspur district planning board chairman Jagroop Singh Sekhwan, joined the party on Wednesday.

 

Paramjit Kaur, MC ward no. 5 of Nawanshahr, Baba Ramji Das, former Sarpanch and ex-MC ward no 4 of Nawanshahr, youth leader Harpreet Singh Honey, Bhupinder Kaur, Surinder Singh, Amanpreet Singh and Baljit Singh joined the Aam Aadmi Party. Along with them Dr Kamaljit Lal, former chairman Improvement trust chairman, who joined the party two days ago, was also officially inducted into the party.

 

Jagroop Singh Sekhwan officially inducted all the new leaders to the AAP fold and said that leaders who want to work for the progress of Punjab and serve the people are always welcomed in the AAP family. He was accompanied by Nawanshahr district in-charge Satnam Jalalpur, AAP Punjab chief spokesperson Malvinder Singh Kang and Nawanshahr Halqa in-charge Lalit Mohan Pathak.
