A meeting regarding Experiential Learning Opportunities (ELPs) and Youth Engagement activities on 'MY Bharat Portal' was chaired by Smt. Meeta Rajivlochan, Secretary, Department of Youth Affairs, Government of India here today with various Departments of Haryana Government.
A government spokesperson said the MY Bharat (Mera Yuva Bharat) portal, launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 31st, 2023, is a transformative technology platform designed to empower India's youth and propel the nation towards its vision of a "Viksit Bharat" by 2047. MY Bharat is a digital platform that aims to connect youths with volunteering programs in different sectors. It enables youth engagement with community to participate in developmental tasks and develop leadership skills. The departments are requested to identify programs for engaging the youth in activities beneficial to communities, develop outreach strategies to disseminate information about the potential of MY Bharat platform so that maximum number of youths can utilize the services of the platform.
The spokesperson said all partners of MY Bharat have their webpage where the digital events for physical activities can be created.
