Jalandhar, May 5: Punjab's Leader of the Opposition (LoP), Partap Singh Bajwa on Friday sought the POCSO (Prevention of Children from Sexual Offence) Act against the Aam Aadmi Party's cabinet minister, whose video has been given to the Punjab Governor for forensic investigation.

Addressing the media persons, Bajwa said that the minister has been facing very serious allegations. Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann must dismiss him from the cabinet with immediate effect and then he should be arrested.

In a press conference held in the poll-bound Jalandhar, the leader of the opposition exposed the lies and false promises of the AAP government in Punjab.

Bajwa said that before the elections CM Bhagwant Mann promised that he would lead a very humble and simple life once he gets hold of power.

"Meanwhile he along with his family and close relative has been leading a very lavish lifestyle. He has around 1250 security guards to protect him and his family. CM personally has 900 security guards. Around 2500 police personnel have been protecting the entire 25 lakh population of Jalandhar district, whereas 1250 security guards are protecting a single family", LoP said, adding that similar is the situation with Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, who has been enjoying double Z plus security cover and Land Cruisers.

He said that one can easily imagine the difference between what he used to preach before the elections and what he has been practicing after the elections. Do they deserve your votes? The answer is no.

Speaking on the issue of justice to the family of slain Punjabi rapper and singer, Sidhu Moosewala, Bajwa said that Moosewala's father Balkaur Singh has been in Jalandhar for a two-day visit to seek justice for his son. The police pressurised him to cancel his programmes in Jalandhar. The house in which he has been staying was almost sealed by the police. The police only let him move freely when they realised that people from nearby areas were started getting together.

In the press conference, Bajwa said that the AAP government has failed completely to fulfill the promises they made to the people of Punjab. The issues including compensation for wheat crops, farmers' suicide, drug abuse, Rs 1000 pm to women, and hiking disability pensions were not addressed at all.

The opposition leader said that Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal claimed before the election he would generate Rs 20,000 crore in revenue from sand mining and Rs 34,000 crore by ending corruption. They have only managed to generate Rs 125 crore from sand so far in one year. "He must answer now where has the rest of the money gone? Have they deposited in AAP's account? Instead of reducing the debt, the AAP government has rs 40,000 crore.
