MP Amritpal Singh will come out of jail, read the approval

Amritpal Singh, the head of Waris Punjab De Jathebandi, has been elected MP from Khadoor Sahib, but is currently lodged in Dibrugarh jail in Assam under the NSA law. According to the information, he has got permission to come out of jail. Amritpal Singh will take oath of his office on July 5. For this, the Mann government of Punjab has written a letter to the Speaker of the Lok Sabha in this matter. For this, Amritpal's father Tarsem Singh had also sought time to meet the Lok Sabha Speaker in the oath process.

According to the information, the family of Amritpal, who is in jail, had also sent an application to the Deputy Commissioner of Amritsar demanding parole. Amritpal's lawyer and former MP Rajdev Singh Khalsa said that a case has been registered against Amritpal Singh under NSA in Amritsar. It is worth noting that according to the rules, an elected MP has to take oath within 60 days. The period of NSA imposed on Amritpal Singh has been extended for one year.
