A policeman died after being shot on the first floor of Nawanshahr court. The deceased policeman has been identified as 35-year-old senior constable Harvinder Singh posted at Police Station Pojewal. The shot was fired when the employee was in the bathroom on the upper floor of the court. The shot was fired from AK 47. According to information, Harvinder Singh had brought the accused from Ludhiana to present them in Nawanshahr court. The bullet hit the constable's head. The employee was a resident of Majri Nangal village of Ropar.
