A grand declamation competition organised by Nimbus Defence Academy at the Law Auditorium in Panjab University Chandigarh. More than 500 students from leading schools and colleges across the Tricity participated in the event enthusiastically.
Nimbus Defence Academy organised this event in collaboration with the Department of Defence and National Security Studies and the Jammu Kashmir Study Centre, Panjab University.
The competition was designed to encourage patriotism, leadership, critical thinking and effective public speaking among young students while promoting meaningful discussions on national security and contemporary issues.
Panjab University Vice Chancellor Prof. Renu Vig, who attended the event as the Chief Guest, lauded the organisers for providing a platform that nurtures informed, confident, and responsible youth. She emphasised that such initiatives play a crucial role in shaping students into active contributors to the nation’s development.
The program was further graced by Wing Commander Vikas and Colonel P. K. Dhaka as the Guests of Honour. Addressing the participants, they encouraged students to uphold the values of discipline, integrity, patriotism, and national service, and motivated them to work towards the progress and security of the country.
The competition featured a series of thought-provoking speeches delivered by talented participants on a range of national and social issues. Students displayed remarkable communication skills, confidence, analytical thinking, and awareness of national concerns, earning appreciation from the audience.
