Bollywood actress Nora Fatehi has been sued for ₹3 crore by an aviation company that claims her alleged “derogatory and irresponsible” remarks about one of its chartered aircraft damaged its reputation and business operations.
Dunes Aviation filed the defamation suit in a Gandhinagar court, alleging that Nora shared a video of the chartered plane on Instagram and described it as “small,” a “toy,” and a “Lego airplane.” The company argues that these comments negatively impacted public perception of its services.
According to the lawsuit, Nora’s statements reached her audience of over 46 million followers, leading to booking cancellations and a decline in customer confidence. The company claims its bookings dropped by 15–20 percent following the social media post, causing significant commercial losses.
Dunes Aviation has maintained that the aircraft used by the actress was of standard size, fully certified by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), and legally operated under a valid Non-Scheduled Operator Permit (NSOP).
The company has sought ₹3 crore in damages and requested the court to direct social media platforms to remove all content and statements referring to the aircraft. It has also demanded that Nora issue a public clarification regarding the matter.
The case is scheduled to come up for hearing before Senior Civil Judge R. Agrawal on September 25. As of now, there has been no public response from Nora Fatehi regarding the allegations.
