A school bus belonging to Chitkara International School lost control and rammed into six parked cars in Panchkula on Tuesday morning. Around 20 students were on board at the time of the accident, but all of them escaped unharmed.

According to the police, the bus was on its way to the school when it first collided with cars parked along the roadside. The driver then lost control of the vehicle, causing it to crash into several more parked vehicles. A total of six cars sustained varying degrees of damage.

Local residents rushed to the spot immediately after the accident and safely evacuated the children from the bus. Passersby informed the police, following which Emergency Response Vehicle (ERV) teams reached the scene and initiated rescue and traffic management operations.

Fortunately, no student suffered any serious injuries in the incident.

Police have begun questioning the bus driver and are investigating the exact cause of the accident.

Authorities are examining whether the crash resulted from a mechanical failure or any other factor. They are also probing the possibility that the driver may have been under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident.
