In alignment with the vision of CM Bhagwant Singh Mann to provide seamless online services to the people of Punjab, the state government has launched a dedicated portal for the Ashirwad Scheme. This initiative aims to streamline the application process, making it smoother, more transparent and accessible. With this new system, eligible families can apply for financial assistance directly from the comfort of their homes.
Cabinet minister Dr. Baljit Kaur, emphasized the Punjab Government’s commitment to offering cutting-edge online services for Scheduled Castes, Backward Classes and Economically Weaker Sections. Beneficiaries can submit their applications for the Ashirwad Scheme through the official portal: http://ashirwad.punjab.gov.in. The introduction of this online portal has further enhanced the efficiency and transparency of the scheme.
Dr. Baljit Kaur highlighted that individuals from Scheduled Castes, Backward Classes and Economically Weaker Sections can easily apply for financial assistance through the portal. The user-friendly interface is designed to simplify the application process, allowing applicants to easily upload necessary documents. Cabinet Minister said that this portal ensures a completely contactless application process, eliminating the need for physical visits. It also provides an avenue for direct communication with beneficiaries.
