Bollywood actress Preity Zinta visited Sri Harmandir Sahib in Amritsar late Saturday night, where she offered prayers with deep devotion and faith. After paying obeisance at the holy shrine, she prayed for peace, prosperity, and the success of her cricket team. As news of her arrival spread among devotees, excitement and enthusiasm could be seen around the Golden Temple complex.

Dressed in a simple and graceful manner with her head covered in respect, Preity Zinta spent some time in prayer and meditation inside the shrine. Following Sikh traditions, she also performed seva in the langar hall by helping serve food to devotees. Her humility and dedication towards service won the hearts of the sangat present there.

While interacting with the media, Preity Zinta said, “We are here because Waheguru Ji has called us.” She revealed that her cricket team has an important match on the 11th, and she came to seek blessings for the team’s victory. Expressing confidence in her players, she said that with Waheguru Ji’s blessings, the team would give its best performance and aim to win every match.

She also spoke warmly about team captain Shreyas Iyer, mentioning that the people of Punjab lovingly call him “Sarpanch,” which reflects the affection and pride fans have for the team. Preity Zinta thanked the youth of Punjab and cricket lovers for their immense support and love towards the players. She said that such encouragement boosts the morale of the team and becomes its biggest strength on the field.
