Gulab Chand Kataria, Governor of Punjab and Administrator of the Union Territory of Chandigarh, extended a warm welcome to Droupadi Murmu at Chandigarh Airport on Friday.
The President briefly halted at the airport while traveling from Shimla to Delhi. During her transit stay, Governor Kataria met her and conveyed his greetings.
Several senior officials were also present on the occasion, including Chief Secretary H. Rajesh Prasad, Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema, and Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav, along with other dignitaries.
