To be chaired by Nand Lal Sharma; Member Mukesh Garg to Hear Arguments

The HERC has announced a public hearing to discuss new electricity tariffs and the projected revenue requirements for power companies in the upcoming fiscal year. The hearing is set for January 15, 2025, at the HERC headquarters in Sector 4, Panchkula. Nand Lal Sharma, the Commission's Chairman, will preside over the hearing, with Mukesh Garg, Member of the Commission, also present to hear arguments from stakeholders.
The public hearing will address petitions submitted by Haryana's key power utilities, which include HPGCL, HVPN , UHBVN and DHBVN.
The petitions cover the following components:
True-Up for Financial Year 2023-24, Business Plan for 2025-29, Mid-Term Performance Review for 2024-25 and Projected Revenue Requirements for 2025-26.
The Commission invites all stakeholders, including the general public, to submit their objections and suggestions in writing to the Secretary of HERC by January 5, 2025. Submissions should include five copies of the objections along with the full name, address, phone number, and email ID of the individual or organization submitting.
