Panic gripped the Punjab and Haryana High Court on Friday morning after authorities received a bomb threat call, prompting an immediate security response.
Following the alert, security agencies were put on high alert and emergency services, including PCR vehicles, fire tenders and ambulances, were rushed to the High Court premises. Police also tightened security in and around the complex as a precautionary measure.
Teams from various security agencies launched a thorough search operation and began inspecting the premises for any suspicious objects or vehicles. Officials are also examining the source of the threat call.
So far, no official details have been released regarding the identity of the caller or the origin of the threat. Police and other security agencies are investigating the matter, while additional vigilance has been maintained at the High Court complex to ensure safety.
