The total number of 52,825 nominations have been received for Sarpaches and 1,66,338 nominations have been received for Panches in the Gram Panchayat Elections as on 04.10.2024.
Disclosing this here today, Punjab State Election Commissioner Raj Kamal Chaudhuri said that the total number of Gram Panchayats are 13229 where Elections are to be held. He added that completion of the scrutiny process will be tabulated separately after receipt of the information from all the Deputy Commissioners.
