Punjab has started the second round of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral rolls from Thursday, with the Election Commission releasing the draft voter list for 2026 on the official CEO Punjab website — www.ceopunjab.gov.in.
The draft list contains two separate categories. The blue-coloured “SIR ASDD LIST” includes names that have been deleted from the voter list, while the green-coloured “DRAFT ROLL 2026” contains the names of voters whose entries have been found correct during verification.
How voters can check their names
Voters can visit the CEO Punjab website, where three links are available on the home page: ASDD, DRAFT 2026, and SEARCH LIST SIR 2003.
To check their entry in the draft roll, voters need to click on DRAFT 2026, select their district and Assembly constituency, enter the captcha, and then download the PDF of their polling part to search for their name using the part number and part name.
Those who do not know their booth number or serial number can first visit https://voters.eci.gov.in. By selecting “Search Your Name in Voter List”, entering the EPIC number and state, and completing the captcha, they can obtain details including the booth number and voter serial number. They can then return to the CEO Punjab website, open DRAFT 2026, select the Assembly constituency and booth number, and download the relevant voter list.
Check whether your vote has been deleted
Voters can also verify whether their name has been removed by entering their EPIC number in the ASDD section. If the name has been deleted, it will appear in the list; otherwise, the system will display “unidentified”.
If a voter’s name is missing from the draft list or appears in the deleted list, a claim for inclusion can be filed through Form-6, which can be submitted both online and offline.
For offline submission, voters can obtain Form-6 from the nearest BLO, SDM, or Tehsildar office. The form requires details such as name, address, date of birth, and parent’s or spouse’s name, along with a self-declaration, proof of age, and proof of residence. Officials have advised voters to collect a receipt after submission.
90.37% forms returned
Chief Electoral Officer Anindita Mitra said that 90.37 per cent of the forms have been received back, while around 20.66 lakh forms have not yet been returned.
To assist voters who are unable to visit government offices, booth-level camps will be organised on August 16. At these camps, voters will be able to check their names in the draft voter list and submit Form-6 on the spot if their names are missing.
