Ludhiana, being one of Punjab’s vital industrial hubs, received major boost through the augmentation of power transformers

In a significant move to bolster Punjab’s cabinet minister Harbhajan Singh ETO announced the successful execution of extensive upgrades to the 66KV substation transmission network by PSPCL during the fourth quarter of FY 2024-25.
Reaffirming the state government’s commitment to delivering reliable electricity to every household and industry, the Minister highlighted that PSPCL has undertaken substantial infrastructure enhancements, including the augmentation and addition of Power Transformers, new 66KV substations, and expansion of high-voltage lines.
“Punjab is on a mission to provide uninterrupted and quality power supply to its people, and these upgrades are a major step in that direction,” said Harbhajan Singh ETO. “Our government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is dedicated to strengthening the power backbone of the state to support development and economic growth.”
