Ahmedabad Crime Branch has arrested Parminder Kaka alias Parminder Prasad, a key accused in the murder case of Punjabi influencer Mad Sandhu. According to police, Parminder was allegedly involved in the shooting that led to Sandhu’s death.

After the incident, the accused reportedly fled to Gujarat and stayed at different hotels to evade arrest. Acting on his location, the Ahmedabad Crime Branch, in coordination with the Punjab Police, arrested him.

Police are now questioning the accused about the murder conspiracy, the weapon used in the shooting, the funding network and his suspected links with the international Goldy Dhillon gang. His arrest is being considered an important breakthrough in the investigation.

The accused has been brought to Amritsar. The Amritsar Police Commissioner is expected to address a press conference and provide further details about the arrest and the investigation.

According to the preliminary investigation, Mad Sandhu had left his car at a car wash. Later, two girls arrived to drop him off so that he could collect his vehicle.

During this time, two motorcycle-borne men reached the spot. One of them remained on the motorcycle while the other approached Mad Sandhu and opened fire.

The attacker reportedly fired around four to five rounds, two of which hit Sandhu. He was seriously injured and rushed to a private hospital, but he died on the way.

Police are continuing to investigate the motive behind the killing and the wider network allegedly connected to the crime.
