The trailer of Ramayana Part 1, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, was officially released on Wednesday, July 30, at 4:15 a.m. during the auspicious Brahma Muhurat. The makers launched the much-awaited trailer simultaneously across the world on digital platforms.
The trailer has been released in multiple languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam, reflecting the film’s pan-India appeal.
Soon after its release, Ramayana began trending on social media, where it received mixed reactions from viewers. Many users praised the visuals, scale, and emotional appeal of the film. One social media user wrote, “This is not just a trailer; it is an emotion connected to generations.”
However, some viewers raised concerns about the Hindi dialogues delivered by Yash and Sai Pallavi. A section of users also criticized Sai Pallavi’s look and facial expressions in the trailer.
The film brings together several prominent stars from Bollywood and South Indian cinema. Ranbir Kapoor plays the role of Lord Ram, while Sai Pallavi portrays Goddess Sita. South superstar Yash appears as Ravana.
The ensemble cast also includes Sunny Deol as Hanuman, Ravi Dubey as Lakshman, and important roles played by Arun Govil, Lara Dutta, Rakul Preet Singh, Vivek Oberoi, and Kunal Kapoor.
With its grand scale, mythological theme, and star-studded cast, Ramayana has emerged as one of the most anticipated Indian films in recent years, and the trailer release has further intensified public interest in the project.
