Education Department has extended the deadline for online applications for admission to Class 11 in Chandigarh government schools, providing significant relief to students who were unable to complete the process due to technical issues.
The last date for submitting applications has now been extended to June 27, 5:00 PM. Earlier, the deadline was June 25, but a server outage on the final day prevented many applicants from successfully submitting their forms.
According to the department, the admission portal experienced heavy traffic on the last day, leading to technical glitches that caused inconvenience to a large number of students and parents. Following numerous complaints regarding the disruption, the department decided to extend the application window by two days.
The Education Department has urged all eligible students to complete their online applications well before the revised deadline and avoid waiting until the final hours. Students whose applications remained incomplete or who were unable to apply due to the server issue can now complete the process by 5:00 PM on June 27.
