A road accident was reported near Narwana on Monday after a Haryana Roadways bus lost control and overturned, injuring several passengers. Fortunately, a major tragedy was averted and all passengers are reported to be safe.
Bus from Panchkula to Hisar meets with accident near Harial Chowk
According to information, a bus of Haryana Roadways (Panchkula depot), bearing registration number HR 68 B 7955, was travelling from Panchkula to Hisar when the incident occurred near Harial Chowk in Narwana.
Eyewitnesses said a scooter suddenly came in front of the bus. In an attempt to avoid hitting the two-wheeler, the driver lost control of the vehicle. The bus veered off the road, broke through the wall of a PWD Rest House Narwana, and subsequently overturned.
8–10 passengers injured, all out of danger
At the time of the accident, around 35 passengers were on board. The sudden crash led to panic at the spot, but locals quickly rushed to help and began rescue operations.
Around 8 to 10 passengers sustained injuries and were immediately shifted to the Civil Hospital in Narwana. Doctors have confirmed that all injured passengers are in stable condition and out of danger.
Police begin investigation
Police teams reached the spot soon after receiving information, conducted an inspection, and have started an investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident.
