Rs. 68 crore released to 602 Gaushalas, Rs. 1,357 crore to 35 lakh women and Rs. 1,884 crore under social security schemes

Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini said that the state government is steadfastly working to fulfil every promise made to the people with dedication and commitment. He said that under the visionary leadership of PM Narendra Modi, the vision of building a Viksit Bharat is guiding policy decisions across the country, and the Haryana Government is actively contributing to this national mission through people-centric governance and development initiatives.

The Chief Minister was speaking during the ongoing Budget Session of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha here today. He said that the recent release of a substantial amount directly into beneficiaries’ bank accounts under various welfare schemes reflects the Prime Minister’s commitment to good governance and public welfare.

The Chief Minister further informed that on March 3, 2026, the state government released Rs. 68 crore to 602 Gaushalas across Haryana. Further, on March 8, 2026, on the occasion of International Women’s Day, the state government transferred Rs. 1,357 crore to about 35 lakh women beneficiaries covered under different welfare schemes. He said that on March 9, 2026, the government released Rs. 1,884 crore under various social security and welfare schemes. These include benefits under the Old Age Pension Scheme, DAYALU Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, and several other schemes.

The Chief Minister said that within a short span of time, the state government has transferred a total of Rs. 3,309 crore directly into the accounts of beneficiaries across Haryana through various schemes, demonstrating the government’s commitment to public welfare under the leadership of the Prime Minister.

The Chief Minister also announced that directions have been issued to conduct an inquiry into the recent accident in Safidon of Jind district. He said that the families of those who lost their lives in the incident will be provided financial assistance of Rs. 5 lakh each, while the injured will receive Rs. 2 lakh each as relief.
