Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) received a political boost in Punjab's Mansa district on Friday as Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) District Youth President Hanish Bansal officially joined the party along with his supporters. The induction ceremony was led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann's OSD Rajbir Ghuman, who welcomed Bansal into the AAP fold by presenting him with the party's traditional siropa.

Welcoming the new entrant, Rajbir Ghuman said AAP has always believed in inclusive politics and working for every section of society. He expressed confidence that the joining of a committed young leader like Hanish Bansal would significantly strengthen the party's organisational base in Mansa.

Ghuman also assured Bansal of full respect and responsibility within the party.

After joining AAP, Hanish Bansal said he was inspired by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann's people-centric policies and transparent governance. He said these factors motivated him to leave the Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) and join AAP. Bansal added that he would work sincerely to take the party's policies and welfare initiatives to the people.
