Speaker Punjab Vidhan Sabha Kultar Singh Sandhwan today inaugurated development projects worth lakhs of rupees in various schools in his constituency at Kotkapura under the "Punjab Education Revolution" program. In this regard, development projects under the visionary leadership of CM Bhagwant Singh Mann has also been inaugurated in various schools across the state.
On this occasion, Speaker said that CM and AAP Suprimo Arvind Kejriwal have the view that in order to make all around development of the country, we should first make the better future of our children. To achieve this dream, the infrastructure of schools has been immensely improved to shape the future of children. He said that it is a matter of great pride that 189 students of Government schools have passed the JEE examination. The construction work of boundary walls of Government schools has been completed upto 98 percent and 1177 watchmen have been recruited for the security of schools. Besides this, 1809 campus managers have been recruited, 6200 new rooms have been constructed, and 4700 classrooms have been renovated so far.
