SBI Donate School bus for visually challenged students of Blind school

Punjab Newsline, Chandigarh -

During a mega ceremony held at SBI, Panchkula Krishan Sharma, Chief General Manager SBI in presence of Sujit Kumar GM and other dignitaries presented keys of School Bus to Dinesh K Kapila, Chairman of the institute. 

Later Krishan Shanna, CGM-SBI flagged off the Bus and chocolates & sweets were distributed amongst all. The Bus was required since long as our existing old buses was giving problems. Now with the addition of new Bus, the visually challenged day scholar students of Chandigarh Mohali and Panchkula will enjoy free transportation service from their doorstep to institute and back home.

The "Society for the Care of Blind" which is serving the visually challenged students since 1972 and running a CBSE affiliated Sr. Secondary School namely "Institute for the Blind" having 173 students on rolls, will remain grateful to the State Bank of India for their kindness and help from time to time for the welfare of the specially abled students.
