Instructs the mining officials for strengthening the existing monitoring system

In order to maintain more transparency in the ongoing work of De-silting of Banur Weir, Sub Divisional Magistrate, Derabassi, Amit Gupta, inspected the site with Drainage and Mining Officials, today.
SDM Derabassi said that as per the directions of worthy Deputy Commissioner Aashika Jain, the visit was aimed at strengthening the existing monitoring mechanism further. He said that the Drainage and Mining Officials have been instructed to get the fresh Drone survey of the material excavated from the bed of Banur Weir. The DEM Survay is done regularly in the presence of the departmental vigilance team of the Water Resources Department.
They were also directed to give the access of CCTV monitoring to the District Administration also that was earlier vested with vigilance team of Water Resources Department for regular monitoring.
Similarly, the Junior Engineer level officer of the Department who has been given the task to get the de-silting work in his presence from 8 am to 6 pm, was asked to implement the conditions of the excavation strictly after the day came to an end.
