Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh has responded to speculation surrounding his concert scheduled for October 30 at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi, assuring fans that he will meet them as planned.

During an Instagram Live session on Friday morning, Dosanjh told his fans that he would be in Delhi on October 30. His statement appears to have eased concerns over rumours that the concert could be cancelled.

Taking a humorous dig at those discussing the controversy without verifying the facts, Dosanjh asked, “Have the reels been made, the tweets posted, and the debates held in newsrooms?”

He criticised the tendency to spread speculation without checking the authenticity of information, urging people to establish the facts before debating any issue or circulating news.

Amid questions about the concert's status, the singer reiterated that he would meet his fans in Delhi on October 30. He ended the Instagram Live session by expressing his affection for his followers and saying, “I love you.”

Questions had earlier been raised regarding permissions and security arrangements for the concert. Reports also indicated that arrangements related to security, traffic management and crowd control were being discussed by the organisers.

During his Instagram Live, Dosanjh indicated that permission had been granted. However, the current status of the required permissions should be confirmed through an official statement from the concerned authorities.

For now, the singer's assurance has offered reassurance to fans awaiting his Delhi performance.
