AMRITSAR: Reacting to the incident at Gurdwara Sri Dukhniwaran Sahib, Patiala, Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami has said that the anti-Sikh forces are targeting Guru Ghars with a deliberate conspiracy, while the government is watching as a silent spectator.

He said that the heinous act of drinking alcohol by a girl inside the historic Gurdwara Sahib of Patiala is a conspiracy, it cannot be a random phenomenon.

He questioned the government of Punjab and said that sometimes there are incidents of explosions near Sachkhand Sri Darbar Sahib and killing of devotees and sometimes cases of desecration of Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji are coming to light in different places. This anti-Sikh phenomenon is the result of the failure of the Punjab government. Because if exemplary action is taken against the accused, no one should feel ashamed to do so.
He said that if the government is serious and fulfills its due responsibilities, then such conspiratorial incidents will not happen.
