Punjab VS Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan unfurled the National Flag as chief guest during the district-level celebrations of the 76th Republic day at Nehru Stadium in Faridkot. On this occasion, he inspected the parade and also took salute from the march past. MLA Faridkot Gurdit Singh Sekhon, MLA Jaito Amolak Singh were also present on this function.
In his address, Sandhwan said that India has got the freedom only due to the sacrifices of its great warriors, heroes and the struggle of freedom fighters. He added that the Indian Constitution came into effect on 26th January 1950 and
India has the pride of being the largest democracy in the world.
He further said that I salute our great heroes and patriots and wish for the progress and prosperity of our state.
