Haryana EM Mahipal Dhanda, said that the National Education Policy 2020 will be implemented in Haryana this year. Efforts are underway to further enhance the education level for the 22 lakh students across 14 thousand government schools in the state. As part of this initiative, the transfer of about one lakh teachers will be ensured by May 31, 2025, in accordance with the Teacher Transfer Policy.
He further said that teachers will be given preference for transfers to schools within the block of their district to further improve the examination results of government schools. The process of rationalizing posts has already begun and will be completed by March 7. He said that in the first phase, teachers will be transferred to PM Shri and Model Sanskriti schools followed by transfer to all other schools.
The Education Minister was presiding over a review meeting with officials of the School Education Department here today. During the meeting, the progress of constructing labs, classrooms, and boundary walls for 1,497 PM Shri, Model Sanskriti Senior Secondary, and High Schools across the state was reviewed.
