In a major security alert along the Indo-Pak border in Amritsar, personnel of the Border Security Force (BSF) have detained two Pakistani nationals who allegedly entered Indian territory illegally. A vehicle was also recovered from the accused, and security agencies are currently interrogating them.

According to officials, both individuals were engaged in supplying goods to shops in Pakistan’s Kasur region. During the course of their work, they reportedly crossed the international border in their private vehicle and entered Indian territory, where BSF personnel immediately took them into custody.

The detained Pakistani nationals have been identified as Mohammad Saleem (60), son of Nazir Ahmed, a resident of Naster Colony, Ferozepur Road, Lahore, and Aamir Nawaz (40), son of Mohammad Nawaz, a resident of Jasheen Town, Ghazi Road, Lahore.

BSF officials have informed Pakistani Rangers stationed at the zero line about the incident. The suspects are currently being questioned in the Amritsar sector, and officials are examining every possible angle, including whether the entry into India was accidental or intentional.
