The impact of the Western Disturbance that had recently affected Punjab has now subsided, bringing an end to the spell of unsettled weather. The state is expected to witness clear skies and dry weather over the next seven days, with no rainfall forecast during this period.
According to the latest bulletin issued by the Meteorological Centre, Chandigarh, weather conditions are likely to remain stable across Punjab throughout the coming week. Daytime temperatures are expected to rise slightly but will remain close to normal levels.
Meanwhile, night temperatures may witness minor fluctuations due to changing weather conditions. The snowfall in the mountainous regions is also likely to influence temperatures in Punjab, as cold winds blowing from the hills may affect the state.
After the recent spell of rain ended, a slight increase in temperatures was recorded on Friday. However, the average temperature across Punjab remained 2.6 degrees Celsius below normal.
Night temperatures, on the other hand, continued to remain close to seasonal averages. With no rain expected over the next week, residents are likely to experience predominantly dry weather, while temperatures may see minor changes under the influence of cold winds from the hills.
