Fear and anger are mounting in Kurukshetra’s posh Jindal City area after another stray dog attack was reported on Friday. A woman working as a domestic helper was allegedly attacked by a pack of stray dogs while heading to work in the residential colony.

According to local residents, the dogs suddenly pounced on the woman, creating panic in the area. People nearby rushed to help and managed to rescue her from the dogs after a struggle. The woman sustained injuries in the incident.

The latest attack comes just four days after a woman lecturer was reportedly badly bitten by stray dogs in the same locality. Residents say this is the third such incident in the last 20 days, leading to growing outrage against the administration for failing to control the stray dog menace.

Many residents, especially women and children, are now living in fear. Several domestic workers have also reportedly refused to continue working in the area due to safety concerns. Locals allege that repeated complaints to authorities have failed to bring any concrete action.

Minto Bhardwaj, the lecturer who was attacked earlier and wife of former ITBP officer Subhash Bhardwaj, has submitted a complaint to the Superintendent of Police seeking strict action. She said residents are now prepared to raise the matter before the Chief Minister if immediate steps are not taken.

The issue has gained further attention following recent observations by the Supreme Court regarding dangerous stray dogs. Residents say public anger is intensifying as authorities continue to remain inactive despite repeated attacks.
