Haryana Transport Minister Anil Vij today urged the Speaker of the Assembly, Haryana Vidhan Sabha to give a ruling before he answered a question, stating that the same question had been asked in the previous session as well. Therefore, his reply would be the same as the one he had given earlier. Vij shared this information in reference to Question No. 4 during the ongoing session of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha.
He pointed out that under Section 50 of the Rules of Procedure, a question asked in the previous session cannot be repeated in the next session, as it goes against the rules. Sh. Vij demanded a ruling in this regard concerning the question raised in the last session.
