Five employees removed from their present postings with immediate effect

Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini while taking a strict cognizance of the reports related to MGNREGA in Kaithal has directed immediate removal of ABPO, Sivan, and four Junior Engineers from their present postings. Besides this, the Chief Minister has also directed the senior officers to investigate the matter and take appropriate action as per rules if any discrepancies are found.
Sharing more details in this regard, an official spokesperson said that reports concerning corruption under MGNREGA in Kaithal district were published in certain newspapers. Taking serious notes of these media reports, the Chief Minister has ordered immediate removal of the ABPO, Sivan, and four Junior Engineers from Saraswati Heritage Division-3 from their present postings. He has further directed these officers to report to their respective directorates or headquarters immediately.
Furthermore, the Director, Rural Development Department has been directed to investigate the matter. If any
discrepancies are found, suitable action will be taken in accordance with the law or rules. The Commissioner
and Secretary, Development and Panchayat Department have been asked to submit an action-taken report
on this case within 15 days, shared the spokesperson.
