Haryana Chief Minister, Nayab Singh Saini, has expressed concern over the deaths of elderly Gauvansh in Gaushalas due to the severe cold. He has directed all members, including the Chairman of the Gau Seva Ayog, to personally visit Gaushalas across the state and assess the available facilities for the Gauvansh. He has also directed to ensure the availability of veterinary surgeons in the Gaushalas to monitor the health of the Gauvansh.
The Chief Minister has taken cognizance of the deaths of Gauvansh at the Gaushala in Kaithal and has
issued these instructions. The Chief Minister has asked the Chairman and members of the Gau Seva Ayog to also provide information about the efforts and schemes initiated by the Haryana Government for the welfare of Gauvansh in the State, so that Gaushala operators can contribute to the cause by adopting these schemes.
