Haryana's cabinet minister Dr. Arvind Sharma, while addressing the programme in Jhajjar under the ‘Hamara Samvidhaan, Hamara Swabhiman’ campaign, said these events are being organized across the country with the aim of making today's generation aware of the Constitution and inspiring them towards its values. These programmes are instilling patriotism and faith in the countrymen and making them aware of their rights and duties.
Speaking as the chief guest through videoconferencing, the minister said the more dedication the citizens have towards the values of the Constitution, the faster the country will progress. He said PM Narendra Modi has also explained the importance of the Constitution to the countrymen in the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ programme and appealed to participate in the development and progress of the country by following the path shown by the Constitution makers.
Dr Arvind Sharma said today is also National Tourism Day and the department will organize the 38th Surajkund Fair from February 7 to February 23 where the cultural ethos of Haryana will be seen. This time, Odisha and Madhya Pradesh will participate as partner states.
