Deputy Chief Minister of Haryana Dushyant Chautala said that "Right of Way" check will be done for the four-way road from village Khanpur to Ladwa under Indri assembly constituency, if found suitable, it will be constructed in the next financial year. Dushyant Chautala was replying to a question asked by a member of the House during the winter session of the Assembly here today.
He further informed that the total length of road from Khanpur to Ladwa is 59.25 kilometers, out of which 39.03 kilometers of road length in Karnal, Ladwa, Babain and Shahabad is already four-lane.
And the remaining road whose length is 20.22 km is 10 meters wide.
As soon as suitable land is found, over bridge will be built
Deputy CM Chautala said that land is being searched for an alternative to the railway over bridge at Asavata railway crossing in Palwal area and as soon as suitable land is found, a railway over bridge or other alternative will be built. He was replying to a question asked by a member of the House during the winter session of the Assembly here today.He admitted that the population of many villages of Palwal area has to pass through Asavata railway crossing and due to heavy railway traffic there is jam most of the time due to which people have to face a lot of problems. Despite considerable efforts, construction of Railway Over Bridge has not been found possible due to limited Right of Way (ROW). Due to population on both sides of the road, land acquisition is also not possible. Appointment of a structural consultant to suggest suitable options is under consideration by the Department. Land is being searched for an alternative to the Railway Over Bridge and as soon as suitable land is found, a Railway Over Bridge or other alternative will be built.
Sanctioned 6274.16 lakh Rs for bypass will be built in Kosli
Chautala said that a bypass will be built in Kosli, for which Rs 6274.16 lakh has been sanctioned. He was replying to a question asked by a member of the House during the winter session of the Assembly here today. He further said that no government land is available for the construction of Kosli Bypass and private land has to be purchased. The matter of land purchase was taken up through e.Bhoomi portal but could not be concluded due to land owners demanding very high rates. Efforts in this regard are still ongoing. He also requested the questioning MLA to convince the concerned people to provide land.
